A retail, entertainment and hotel development called Saltwater Row is planned for a former Kmart site along Atlantic Boulevard in Neptune Beach.
TriBridge Residential and TLM Realty Corp. announced the development Monday in a news release.
The development is east of the Neptune Beach Plaza anchored by Lucky’s Market near Third Street.

United Distributors Inc. owners Mark Blackwell and Craig Boesdorfer didn’t intend to stay in the water business for 40 years.
The childhood friends moved to Florida from Illinois to escape the cold and answered a blind newspaper ad for water purification and conditioning equipment sales.
Rebranded VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena gets sign to match

ith the drop of a curtain, the sign on the rebranded VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena was unveiled Tuesday in a ceremony outside the Downtown sports and entertainment venue.
VyStar and the city reached the 15-year, $9.76 million naming-rights sponsorship deal in February. The Jacksonville-based credit union is paying the city a $525,000 licensing fee the first year to rebrand the arena with its name.
DDRB to consider final approval of Ashley Street container apartments

Downtown Design Review Board staff recommended final approval for a project to retrofit 18 shipping containers into 320-square-foot apartments in the Cathedral District.
The DDRB will consider the final designs Thursday for the $1.2 million project at 412 Ashley St. The board is scheduled to meet at 2 p.m. in the Ed Ball Building at 214 N. Hogan St. on the eighth floor in room 851.
Proposed JEA headquarters heads to DDRB for conceptual review

Conceptual designs for JEA's proposed Downtown headquarters released Friday include a rooftop terrace and 8,500 square feet of street-level retail space.
The Downtown Development Review Board will review the new building specifications Thursday by developer Ryan Companies US Inc.
