The owners of Town & Country Shopping Center at 903 University Blvd. N. are listing four outparcels for sale along the southern end of the property facing Arlington Expressway.

Prime Realty is listing the properties, ranging from 0.42 acres to 0.61 acres, priced from $300,000 to $495,000.

Jacksonville University is building its $ 21 million health sciences building at 5491 Dolphin Point Blvd. Stellar Group Inc. is the contractor for the three-story building on 6.6 acres north of the main campus at 2800 University Blvd. Feb. 20 after issuing the foundation allows in September.

$36 MILLION INCENTIVES DEAL TO TURN BERKMAN II INTO ENTERTAINMENT CENTER GOING TO CITY COUNCIL

The Downtown Investment Authority and 500 East Bay LLC are seeking City Council approval of a development agreement to provide $36 million in incentives for developers to convert the partially constructed Berkman II condominium along the Downtown Northbank into an entertainment center.

The project is estimated at $122 million. Ordinance 2019-151 is scheduled to be introduced Tuesday.

BAPTIST HEALTH TO BUILD $23 MILLION EMERGENCY CENTER IN OAKLEAF

Baptist Health Properties Inc. is expanding into Southwest Jacksonville with a free-standing 20-bed emergency center scheduled to open in early 2020.

Jacksonville-based Baptist Health said Monday the $23 million facility will offer adult and pediatric emergency care at the Oakleaf Town Center at Argyle Forest Boulevard and Merchants Way next to the First Coast Expressway.

The center also will serve Northern Clay County and is designed to meet the needs of the growing population between Interstate 10 and Florida 16.
